With this move, Yorkshire Water hopes to focus all energies on making new investments towards improving services to customers. With the assurance from Ofwat, the water regulating body, that a significant sum of £2b may be invested in improvement projects in water and related fields, the Yorkshire Water company is gearing up its investment programmes to improve quality of water supplied fro bathing and reducing incidences of flooding or water logging. About 500 regular employees and contract workers of Yorkshire Water will be relocated to the new business premises which will occupy about two thirds of the office building here. The move is expected to be completed by February next year.
