The adrenal glands help many aspects of the functioning of our bodies, and when it is not working properly to release the necessary hormones in the levels that is necessary than our bodies will begin to break down in certain areas. A dysfunctional adrenal gland can lead to many problems such as fatigue, weakness, muscle weakness, craving for salt, and various other symptoms and some types of adrenal gland disorders can lead to death.

There are two basic types of causes of these disorders, and generally they are genetic. Genetics plays a huge role in your overall health. This doesnt mean that because someone in your family has a disease or disorder that you will have it or your children will have it. It simply means that there is an increased risk of it, and if both parents have certain genes that are dormant it can cause problems as well. This is a risk that you take when you have children, and it most certainly is an unfortunate risk.

Adrenal gland disorders are basically some sort of androgenic steroids, corticosteroids, or aldosterone imbalance. What is causing this imbalance is exactly what will need to be determined. It can be adrenal cancer, or an adrenal tumor. An adrenal tumor can be the cause of the decreased levels of these hormones because it is putting pressure on the gland and making it difficult to release the necessary hormones. The type of treatment for this would be to remove the tumor. Overall there are various types of treatments for adrenal gland disorders and they will vary depending on the severity of the disorder, as well as the cause of it.

Our bodies are complex, and when one thing is out of order there are many other problems that can occur. Its important that we understand our bodies and know what they are telling us by the symptoms that we are experiencing. This isnt always the easiest thing to determine for a doctor. You must keep in mind that a great amount of the way that they diagnosis you is based on what you tell them that you are experiencing. This makes it even more difficult when it comes to diagnosing children with many things because they are unable to express what they are feeling or even know what they are experiencing.
